Cyberspokes Annual
"Food Bank Run, Chopper Show & Benefit Party"

The last Saturday in April
Good people, cool music, hot bikes, and a GREAT TIME.
Leading the pack will be nine-time NFL Pro-Bowl player
from the Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears RUBEN BROWN!

This page contains
FOUR SECTIONS:

  1. Biker Events

  2. Biker Cruise Nights

  3. Online Bike Event Calendars

  4. Hard-copy Biker Event Calendars

The Biker Events and Biker Cruise Nights sections contain detailed information on specific biker events and weekly cruises for the Buffalo & Western NY area.

The Online Biker Event Calendars section was created because selected organizations (The Hog Farm, Hard Tales Magazine, ABATE, Gowanda Harley, etc.)  already do such a GREAT job putting together Event Calendars on their web sites.  So, the folks here at Cyberspokes decided... Why reinvent the wheel?  Instead, let's pool all of these resources together into ONE CENTRAL RESOURCE!  Hence this section was born.  Rather than listing the event calendars alphabetically, we decided to list them in order of completeness for the Western New York area.  Our opinion of course.

The Hard-copy Biker Event Calendars section was created to give you something to hold on to.  Online calendars are great but it's nice to have an actual calendar that you can put on your desk, wall or fridge AND be able to pencil in your own stuff too. Not to mention, they're great looking, cheap, AND you will be helping out a good cause!

For National events like:
Daytona Bike Week - March
Myrtle Beach Bike Week - May
Laughlin River Run - April
Americade - June
Laconia - June
Sturgis - August

At the Jamison Road Firehall. Tickets are $25 and include a barbeque. A good friend of ours has fallen on bad times. C. David Barrows has been diagnosed with cancer. Recently, Dave went into the hospital for a routine procedure and after performing a CT scan and was found to have a tennis ball sized tumor on his brain. Dave underwent emergency surgery to have it removed, but they were only able to remove about 75% of it because of its location. To make matters worse, it tested positive for Glioblastoma Multiforme, Stage IV. What does this mean? It means that the type of cancer Dave has grows very aggressively and is difficult to treat successfully. He spent many years riding with many local clubs, some that no longer exist. Dave loved to ride! He's spent many years dirt bike riding both professionally and on an amateur circuit. We are planning a fund raising event and need your help with a donation of anything you feel you can or wish to donate. Donations can be a monetary gift, merchandise, services, crafts, foods, beverages or almost anything that you wish to donate. All items will be used for Chinese auctions, raffles or to help supply the benefit and all proceeds will go to the family to help them offset their bills while they fight this terrible battle.. bulletWednesday July 18, 2007 - "Ride To Work Day"
Each work day more than eighty million cars and light trucks commute on American roads, but only about 200,000 individuals regularly ride their cycles to work."Ride to Work Day reveals that motorcyclists come from all walks of life, work in all occupations, and range in age from teenagers to grandparents." The American Motorcyclist Association and many other worldwide rider organizations actively encourage all motorcyclists to ride their cycles to work as a grassroots demonstration on the third Wednesday in July each year. Many motorcycles are lightweight, efficient and consume less resources per mile than typical automobiles. A motorcycle's size and nimbleness advantages over cars and light trucks also means that adding more of them to the daily transportation mix makes urban parking easier, reduces road congestion and improves traffic flow. Experience consistently shows that urban motorcyclists reach their destinations faster and are more alert upon arrival than those using automobiles. Motorcycle Event. Don't forget to stop by after work for Wednesday Bike Nites! More details at cyberspokes.com.
